Filipe Soto (Edward Albert), a charismatic freedom fighter from Central America, flees to the United States with his young wife and baby, only to be hunted down by a death squad of counter revolutionaries. Recovering from torture and brutal castration, Filipe is taken into custody, while his wife Maria takes upon a new identity (that of Amy Sutton). She begins a new life and meets Joe (Maxwell Caulfield) with whom she desperately attempts to rescue her estranged husband, before it s too late.
